Sezon Museum of Modern Art leaflet
Located in the forest of Karuizawa, the Sezon Museum of Modern Art is a fascinating place where visitors can enjoy modern art while strolling in nature. It was necessary to present the charm of the place and the collections in an easy-to-understand manner so that people who are interested in art could visit and incorporate the museum as part of their sightseeing plans.
In order to express both the urban element of modern art and the natural element of the environment into a leaflet, a bellows-type leaflet shape was adopted. We have presented the information in a dynamic manner, filled with movement and change.

Flat design on paper
Bringing modernity to a traditional museum
Based on the visual identity previously worked on by Ikko Tanaka, we applied the idea of “flat design” which had been in the design mainstream for website construction, to paper media in order to create a modern design that will continue to look attractive in the future. When the leaflet wrapped in metal green tabs is opened, it presents information in an easy-to-understand manner through its design that leads the viewer to view each piece of detailed information.
